Super simple. Very tasty! Nothing to do? Make these delicious dumplings filled with canned tuna. They are pantry friendly, super healthy and of course very tasty! Normally these dumplings are made with pork, so by using tuna in olive oil, you also get the soft and creamy texture!
Ingredients
- Spring onion 3x
- 1 tbs cornstarch
- white pepper to taste
- 2 cans skipjack tuna (224 gr drained)
- Sesame oil 0.5 tbs
- Soy sauce 2 tbs
- Oyster sauce 0.5 tbs
- Wonton wrappers 200gr
- ⅓ cup water
- ⅓ cup rice vinegar
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 tbs rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbs sambal oelek
- 0.5 tbs chili flakes (to taste)
- 1 big garlic clove minder
- 2 cm minced ginger
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 1-2 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 1 tsp water
- 0.5 red pepper minced

Drain tuna, cut spring onion
- In a bowl add tuna, cornstarch, white pepper, sesame oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce, spring onion
- Put a little bit of the mixture in the middle of a wrapper, paint the edges with water, fold diagonal, press, fold the 2 corners over each other, repeat with all wrappers.
- Steam until the wrappers are cooked through, about 3-5 min

- Mince garlic, red pepper and ginger.
- In a saucepan add all the ingredients except for the cornstarch and red pepper. Boil until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the red pepper and cornstarch mixture, stir and let cooldown in the fridge.
