Not so simple. Very tasty! A salmon bagel with a chopped twist! The honey mustard dressing perfectly compliments the smoked salmon and when I say we are baking our own bagels you already know it’s gonna be good!
Ingredients
- 500 gr bread flour
- 300 ml lukewarm water (40-46 degrees Celsius)
- 7 gr dried yeast
- 1.5 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 tbsp salt
- egg wash
- Everything bagel seasoning
- Sesame seeds

2 packet smoked salmon
- Red onion
- Capers
- Avocado
- Cucumber
- Dill
- Chives
- 6 big tbsp cream cheese
- 6 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 5 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Chili flakes

Directions
Mix the yeast with lukewarm water and set aside for 5 to 10 minutes before stirring
In a separate bowl mix together the flour with salt and sugar
Make a well in the flour and pour in the yeast mixture.
Mix well and knead until a nice smooth and elastic dough is formed
Let rest in an oiled bowl covered in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
Slice the dough into 8 pieces and roll each piece into a smooth ball. Let rest another 30 minutes
Create a hole in the middle by pushing a hole with your finger and rotating it a little bit.
Bring water to a boil and simmer the bagels for 1-2 minutes on each side. Remove and place on a drain rack.
Coat with egg wash and your topping of choice.
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown in about 20 to 25 minutes
Layer all the lox ingredients onto your chopping board and chop till your liking! Enjoy
