Super simple. Very tasty! A Dutch classic, all teenagers eat during their school break! A perfect snack to share with all of your friends!
Ingredients
- 50 gr / 1.7 oz butter
- 90 gr / 3.2 oz flour
- 100 gr / 3.5 oz egg yolk
- Lime grate
- Pinch of salt
- 50 gr / 1.7 oz sugar
- 200 gr / 7 oz almond paste (amandelspijs
- 100 gr / 3.5 oz egg white
- 500 gr / 17.6 oz fondant
- Bit of water
- 100 gr / 3.5 oz frozen or fresh rasberries

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 155 degrees Celsius or 310 degrees Fahrenheit on bottom and top heat
- Cut the butter into little cubes and mix in with the flour
- Mix the almond paste with some lime zest, add the egg yolk and some salt
- Beat the egg whites with a mixer and add in the sugar. Set aside and save some for the glaze
- Mix together the egg whites with the almond paste, lime zest and salt
- Add the flour with butter to the batter and mix
- Fill the cake forms with the batter
- Bake 25 minutes and let the cooldown
- Puree the raspberries until a paste is formed
- Heat the fondant to 37 degrees Celsius or 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Add a bit of egg white and some water to make it a less thick
- Mix the raspberry paste with the fondant until nice and pink
- Dip the cakes into the fondant and let cooldown and stiffen
- Serve and enjoy!
