Super simple. Very tasty! I dont know if this is a kebab, gyros or souvlaki, but it is for sure very tasty! A juice beef kebab on some fresh pita with a homemade tzatziki! Simple, but so so good! Serve it with a traditional Greek salad and you are good to go, everyone will love it!
Ingredients
- 500 gr flour
- 200 gr greek yoghurt
- 170 gr tepid water (more if needed)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 7 gr dried yeast
- 500 gr lamb or beef mince
- 1 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- Fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp greek oregano
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1-2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 200 gr yoghurt
- 1-2 small cucumbers
- 1-2 garlic cloves
- ½ lemon juice
- Fresh dill
- ½ tsp salt
- Drizzle olive oil
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 small cucumbers
- 1 red onion
- 3 tbsp Greek vinegar
- 2 tbsp Greek oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- Drizzle olive oil
- Handful of feta

Directions

Mix the yeast with honey and water (let sit for 15 minutes)
- combine all the dry ingredients and mix with the yeast mixture and yogurt.
- Knead until smooth and let rest until doubled in size.
- Slice into pieces, roll out and bake in pan or on the grill
- Cover with a towel until use
- (reheat by making it wet and putting it in the microwave or dry pan with lit)
Kebabs
Mince the garlic, onion and parsley and mix with the other ingredients
- Knead into a paste and put it with wet hands on the skewers.
- Grill or pan fry until fully cooked
Tzatziki
Grate the cucumber and squeeze out all the moisture.
- Mix with the other ingredients
Greek salad
- Slice the onion into thin half rings and mix with the vinegar and oregano.
- Cut the tomatoes and cucumbers into pieces and add to the onions.
- Season with salt, more oregano, olive oil and top with crumbled feta
