Super simple. Very tasty! A Dutch classics everyone loves! When walking in the market you can buy them for sure, but making them at home is super simple to do! Crispy, fresh and extremely tasty!
Ingredients
- 800 gr cod fillet
- 350 gr flour
- 300 ml beer
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp salt
- Fish spices
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp dille
- 1 tsp cumin
- 150 gr mayonaise
- 100 gr creme fraiche
- 2 tbsp capers
- 4 pickles
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp fish spices
- Dill
- Chives
- Parsley
- Salt
- Pepper
- Lemon juice

Directions
- Slice the cod filets in chunks
- Mix together the flour, salt, fish spices, pepper, beer and an egg.
- Coat the cod chunks in the batter and set aside
- Make the fish spices by mixing all the spices listed.
- For the sauce chop some pickles, capers, dill, chives and parsley
- combine the mayo, with creme fraiche, mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper and fish spices before adding in the chopped pickles, capers, dill, chives and parsley.
- Fry the cod in neutral at 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit, until golden in about 3-5 minutes.
- Serve the kibbeling, sprinkle with the fish spices and enjoy with a wedge of lemon and the sauce!
