Super simple. Very tasty! Leftover rice, no problem it is the perfect solution for the best fried rice your will ever have! The perfect side for almost all Asian main proteins!
Ingredients
- 600 - 800 gr cooked day old rice
- 2 shallots
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 red chili
- 3 green onions
- 3 eggs
- Chicken bouillon powder
- 2 tsp white pepper
- 2 tsp MSG
- Light soy sauce
- Dark soy sauce
- Sesame oil
Directions
Mince the shallot, garlic, red chili and slice the green and white part of the onion separate.
- Take your wok pan and set on high heat with some neutral oil to flavor. Take the oil out and throw it away.
- Add more oil to the wok on high heat, go in with the shallots, white part of the green onion and red chilies. Fry for a minute before adding the garlic.
- After 30 seconds push everything to one side and crack the eggs in the other half and beat. When just set, mix everything together and toss in the rice.
- Wok for 1 more minute before seasoning the sides with the soy sauces, and sesame oil and mixing in the MSG, white pepper, chicken bouillon and a bit of the green part of the spring onion.
- Immediately serve and top with the green part of the spring onion
