Super simple. Very tasty! Craving something quick and easy, then this is the one for you! Chicken with a homemade teriyaki sauce, on your table in 15 minutes!
Ingredients
- 500 gr chicken thighs
- Scallion
- Sesame seeds
- Broccoli

400 gr rice
- 120 ml mirin
- 120 ml soy sauce
- 120 ml sake
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cm ginger
- Cornstarch slurry
Sauce
Directions
- Mince the garlic, grate the ginger and slice the scallion
- In a bowl combine all the sauce ingredients except for the cornstarch slurry.
- Put half the sauce on the chicken thighs and let marinate.
- Add the other half of the sauce in a pan and let it simmer on low heat, when boiling add the cornstarch slurry and stir. Set aside
- To a wok add the broccoli
- Boil the rice
- To a pan on high heat with clarified butter add the marinated chicken (without the marinate), fry until golden brown and add the marinade. simmer until the marinated is thickened and is covering all of the chicken.
- Serve the chicken on the rice, with broccoli and garnish with sesame seeds, the teriyaki sauce and scallions
