Super simple. Very tasty! Nothing beats a good butter chicken and this recipe is just as good as it will get! Rich and creamy chicken in a super smooth and flavorful sauce, with fluffy rice and a touch of fresh coriander!
Ingredients
- 300-400 gr rice
- Coriander
- 500 gr boneless chicken breast, cut into 1 ½ inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
- Ginger
- Garlic
- 120 gr yogurt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 tablespoons ghee
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced

- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- 120 gr cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ teaspoon garam masala

Directions
In a bowl add the masala spices, ginger and garlic paste, yogurt and whisk. Add your chicken to the bowl and marinated at least 30 minutes
- Slice the onions into half rings
- In a pan, heat some ghee and add your onions, saute them for some minutes.
- Add ginger and garlic paste, canned tomatoes and all the spices. Cook for some minutes and if needed add some water
- Blend the sauce in a blender
- In a pan with oil bake the marinated chicken
- Add the chicken and sauce to a pan. When it starts to bubble add heavy cream and garam masala
- Serve with rice and coriander
