Super simple. Very tasty! Everyone loves a good old Big Mac right? This is a tastier and healthier option and you will love it for sure! A nice cheese, meaty and rich filling in a soft pita and we can’t forget the famous Big Mac sauce!
Ingredients
- 400 gr flour
- 7 gr yeast
- 7 gr sugar
- 7 gr salt
- 250 ml lukewarm water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 500 gr ground beef
- 200 gr cheddar
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Paprika powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- 120 gr mayonaise
- 30 gr pickles
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp white vinegar
- ¾ tsp paprika powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Crack of white pepper

Directions
- Mix the ingredients for the pita in a bowl, mix well and knead
- Let the dough rise in a oiled bowl for 30 minutes
- Season the beef
- Chop the lettuce, make little squares of the tomato and deseed them.
- Mix the cheddar, a handful of the lettuce and tomato with the beef.
- Divide the dough in 8 pieces and roll out
- Take a piece of filling and put in the middle of the dough, fold the edges over and close.
- Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Roll the pitas flat
- Bake the pita’s in a dry skillet with lit on medium high heat, until golden brown in about 10 minutes so that the meat is cooked all the way through (internal temp of 70 degrees Celsius)
- Cover with a towel and set aside
- Make the sauce by combining all the ingredients
- Serve with the sauce, lettuce and tomato
