Not so simple. Super tasty! This sandwich is perfect to impress your loved ones, it has everything you could dream off. Crispy bacon, juicy steak, delicious mushrooms and a perfect dipping sauce! Credits to Salt_Hank for this amazing recipe!
Ingredients
- thyme
- chives
- 4 baguettes
- 200 gr bacon
- Mustard
- 1 big carrot
- Few celery sticks
- 2 red onions
- Splash worcestershire
- Glas of red wine
- 400 ml beef stock
- Few garlic cloves

- 400 gr steak/beef tenderloin

Directions
Chop the red onion, celery and carrot
- In a pot with oil add the vegetables followed by some worcestershire sauce, red wine and beef stock. add a garlic heat and rosemary, let simmer
- Strain the sauce through a sieve
- For the steak, coat with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper
- Sear the steak in a pan with oil on all sides, add butter garlic cloves and rosemary. Baste the steak
- Crisp the bacon and crack
- Finely mince/chop the mushrooms and a shallot
- In a pan with butter add the mushrooms and the shallot. Season with salt, pepper and thyme. Bake until all the moisture has evaporated.
- Assemble: bun, mustard, mushrooms, steak, mustard, chives, bacon, bun → dip in sauce
