Anchovy gratin

Super simple. Very tasty! Elevate your potatoes with some cheese and anchovy, delicious! The creamieness of the cheese and cream, go excellent with the salty anchovy and parmigiano, this makes the dish perfect!
Ingredients
- 1,5 kg potatoes
- 1-2 cans Anchovy
- 250 gr parmigiano reggiano
- 2 garlic cloves
- 400 ml Heavy cream
- Butter
- Egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- Thyme
Directions
Peel the potatoes and mince the garlic
- Slice the potatoes with a mandolin
- In a bowl whisk together the heavy cream, egg, ¾ the cheese, salt, pepper, garlic and thyme
- Coat a baking dish with butter and layer: potatoes, anchovy cream and repeat until everything is used, ending with a generous layer of cheese.
- Bake in an oven at 180 degrees celsius for 40 minutes covered with aluminum foil and another 40 minutes uncovered until the potatoes are cooked through and the gratin is golden brown.
